Emergency meeting to address Delhi’s water shortage

The Supreme Court on Monday directed central government to convene an emergency meeting to address Delhi’s water shortage. The meeting is scheduled for June 5 and will include representatives from the central government, Haryana, Himachal and Delhi. In the Supreme court, the Himachal Pradesh government expressed its willingness to supply water to Delhi, while the Haryana government opposed the idea.
